Margaret Howell Test Shoot

A few images from test shoot reasonably happy with them just a few little things with the pose of the model, doing another shoot this week images will follow.

Had another go at the colour correction what do you reckon i think its a big improvement.

Just had a little muck about in the studio this week with my bronica, really like my results but need to work on my colour correction and retouching a bit more.

Studio Workshop

Had a lighting workshop this week had a great day and learnt loads and now can't wait to get back into the studio. We had to recreate 7 images which were given to us here is my groups effort.

Uni Project-Advertising

Here is the current brief i have been set for our latest project.

This project asks you to explore both advertising and fashion imagery. It is supported 

by practical workshops and the content of this semester’s lecture program.  

As part of your research for this project try to look at as much advertising and fashion 

advertising and editorial as possible to give you a wide spread of references.  

Although its discussion of fashion will cover fashion editorial your work for this project 

will be restricted to advertising, although this includes fashion brands as a potential 

subject.

I am going to look at the advertising campaign of Margret Howell shot by Venetia Scott, the reason why i have chosen this campaign is that i really like the classic style and tradition which comes across in the images and the brand itself, i hope i can achieve this in my images to. At the moment i am in the middle of deconstructing the adverts but anyone else's opinion would be gratefully received.

Location Lighting

Yesterday saw our first location lighting workshop. It was a wet and windy day but I didn't care I was learning loads and it was nice to be out doing some shoots. Here is my favorite shot of the day.
